Rotherham United Striker, Alex Revell says that the crowd at the New York Stadium can really be the twelfth man this season.

After languishing at Don Valley for four years the crowds will be back in force now the club has moved back to Rotherham with Revs saying that it`s nice to hear the fans singing in the home stadium.

Speaking to The Advertiser, the former Orient striker said, ‘It`s great for the club and the fans to be back in Rotherham and, it`s a massive cliché, but the fans can be the twelfth man. For instance, last year at Burton the support from our fans there got us back into the game and that`s really important.`

Going onto the pre-season friendlies, the twenty-nine year old carried on, ‘We`ll take massive confidence from the pre-season outings including the game at Parkgate which was a good game for us to have. We`re pleased with the way things have gone so far and now we have to take it into the league, starting this weekend against Burton.`
