Rotherham United striker Alex Revell says that expectations at the club are ‘big`.

Speaking to The Star the thirty year old said, ‘The expectation and the pressure here is quite big and we have players here who can play in the Championship and that`s what we are striving for.`

Speaking about the team he said they all pull together, ‘The support is great and it cascades down but when you make a mistake you can also hear people when they grumble. If I make one the lads here are so honest that they will strive to get you out of it.

‘Not one person in this squad is happy to be carried along. They are all working hard because you have to be at a certain tempo and if that drops then you know about it. Everyone is pulling in the right way and I can see us getting better.

‘Perhaps people thought we might have faded away by now but we have a manager who won`t let you fade away. He`s not happy just to let us settle where we are now, he wants us to aim to be higher.

‘They`re exciting times but we have to keep it going and, hopefully, go under the radar while doing so.`
