Rotherham Reserves 3 Morecambe Reserves 2

Rotherham United Reserves came back from two down on this murky afternoon to beat Morecambe Reserves three-two at Roundwood.

Although the Millers had most of the chances in the first half the teams went in at half-time goalless. But just after the break the visitors went in front with a tap-in for Carlos Mendez-Gomes and on fifty-nine minutes Lamin Jagne doubled their score. Five minutes later Kuda Muskwe made it two-one with Jack Osborne equalising with fifteen minutes left on the clock. On the eighty-second minute Tom Maguire got the Millers third which turned out to be the winner.

Some good news from this game was that long-term injured Darren Potter got to play sixty minutes.

Some bad news is that goalkeeper Laurence Bilboe went off injured in the first half with George McMahon replacing him.
