The man in charge of our game on Saturday at Don Valley is …

Mr PETER QUINN from CLEVELAND.

Peter is a relatively new appointment to the National League list and is in just his 2nd season, following 3 season’s at Conference level.

He describes his career highlight as gaining double promotion in 2005.
He was promoted to the National list of Assistant Referees and to Panel League Referee.
The best game he has officiated at was the Championship Play-Off semi-final, Crystal Palace v Bristol City. A full Stadium, live on TV and a terrific atmosphere due to the rewards available to the winning club.

Last season Peter took charge at 22 games, showing 57 yellows and 5 reds.
He was in the middle for 2 Rotherham United games.
The first being Ronnie Moore’s return at the 3-0 win over Barnet at Don Valley.
He showed 2 yellows to Barnet’s Leach and Jarrett.
His second Millers match was our 2-1 away win at Port Vale, where Nicky Law scored a last minute winner following Stephen Brogan’s opener.
The Port Vale scorer that day was Luke Prosser, who spoiled his day by receiving his 2nd yellow from Mr Quinn to take the long lonely walk for an early bath.
4 other players were booked, Richards from Vale plus Sharps, Fenton and Nicholas from the Millers.

Peter will be joined on Saturday by,

MARK ASTLEY….MANCHESTER
RUSSELL FLETCHER….DERBYSHIRE

4th official will be,

ADRIAN HOLMES….WEST YORKSHIRE
