The man in charge of our first re-arranged match on Tuesday at Don Valley is . . .

Anthony Taylor from Manchester

After spending a few years refereeing in his local leagues at Wythenshawe, Anthony moved to the Northern Premier League in 2001. Four years later he was promoted to the National List of Assistant Referees and after just one season was promoted to the Referees’ List.

As well as taking charge of an England U19 game he also refereed in the 2007 Dallas Cup.

The last time Anthony was in charge of a Millers’ game was in March last year at Don Valley against Accrington Stanley. The game ended 0-0 and bookings that day were for Drewe Broughton and Pablo Mills.

So far this season, Anthony has been in the middle for twenty games and has given out forty-eight yellow and three red cards.
