The man in the middle for our first away trip is….

Steve Cook from Surrey

Steve was promoted to the National List of Assistant Referees in 2005 after coming through the Charlton Athletic Referees` Academy.. In 2007 he was promoted to the National List of Referees.

The last time Steve was in the middle for a Millers game was in October 2008 at Macclesfield. He had a busy afternoon, booking Bell, Dunfield and Jennings for the home side and Fenton and Sharps for the visitors. He also sent off James Jennings and Ian Sharps in the final minute of the game. The Millers won the game 2-1. Dale Tonge scored in the fifth minute and in the ninetieth minute Ian Sharps got the second. Seconds later, Jamie Jennings got a consolation for Macclesfield and following this goal Jennings and Sharps were given second yellow cards resulting in them both getting their marching orders.
