BJ Malone from Wiltshire

This is Brendan`s first season as a League Referee, making his debut at Gresty Road where Crewe beat Hereford one-nil.

Brendan got into refereeing after picking up an injury while playing football for a Hampshire League, which finished his career at the age of twenty-three.

As an Assistant Referee he states that running the line in the 2008 Johnstone`s Paint Trophy Cup Final between MK Dons and Grimsby at the new Wembley Stadium.

Brendan only refereed two games at Conference level, which was last season, before his promotion to the League.

In the four games he has been involved in this season, Brendan has given out thirteen yellow and two red cards (gulp!)
