Rotherham United fans will be travelling down to Brentford on Saturday with the hopes of seeing a new team under new Manager Neil Redfearn.

Although the Millers will always have a spot in their hearts for Steve Evans and for what he did for Rotherham United while he was with us, it’s now onwards and upwards with the new man in charge for his first game.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield the new Millers Boss said, ‘The fans obviously play a bit part in all this and they know that.

‘They are important to us and that support and that backing becomes a massive part of what you do. They’ve had some great experiences in the last two or three seasons and our message to them is that we want to continue that and want to start challenging at the other end of this division. And the fans are going to be a big part of that process.’

So, it’s ‘Thanks for what you’ve done Steve, au revoir’ and ‘Welcome to Neil.’ Or ‘The King is dead, long live the King’.
