Rotherham United Manager Neil Redfearn says he has assessed his squad over the three games he`s been in charge and believes he needs to bring in three or four more players.

‘The lads are trying their best,` the Millers Boss told Radio Sheffield, ‘but we`re just a little bit short.

‘We`ve been on with this by and large since we came in looking at players that might be available and what we might be able to do but it`s got to fit in with what we`ve got.

‘We`ve got to make sure we bring the right people in at the right time and that they are the right type of people.

‘I think what we maybe need is a little competition and the lads up front may need some help because the pressure has been on them. We`re not exactly flushed with strikers. We`ve probably got three then you`re looking at young Jerry Yates so yes, we probably need more competition up there.`
