Rotherham United’s Management team are still hopeful of getting new faces in before the Oxford game on Saturday.

Speaking to the Official Site, Assistant Manager Paul Raynor said that they want to add a bit more quality and keep people on their toes saying, ‘We’ve identified a couple of players we think can add some competition for places, but for now, like anything to do with new recruits, we`re waiting for the parent clubs to come back to us but we are keeping our fingers crossed.’

Earlier in the week Manager Steve Evans said that they’d like to get in a defender and it is possible that they will still be on the look out for another striker with Alex Revell starting a ban this weekend after his red card against Barnet, although there do seem, to me, an abundance of strikers at New York at the moment.
