Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans has said that he will start with Andy Warrington on Saturday against Morecambe at Don Valley.

The thirty-five year old ‘keeper, who is out of contract this summer, mostly featured on the bench for former Millers manager, Andy Scott, starting just seven first team games, five of those in the league.

Speaking to the Football League Official Site, Evans said, ‘Andy Warrington will start on Saturday because we have to give him an opportunity to show he deserves to be here. I think he is a top-class goalkeeper. I can’t assess him playing reserve-team football, I have to assess him playing first-team football.’

Former Doncaster Rover favourite, Andy joined the Millers from Bury in the summer of 2007 and has made almost two hundred appearances but seemed to be out of favour when Scott took over, him seeming to prefer young on-loan goalies.

Good Luck for Saturday, Woggy!
