Rotherham United Goalkeeper Lewis Price told The Rotherham Advertiser that he is ready if needed against Burton Albion.

Price made his league debut for the Millers on Saturday against Leeds United when number one ‘keeper Lee Camp went off injured.

Speaking to David Beddows the thirty-two year old said, ‘I’ve been in the game for quite a long time now and I’m used to coming on and I’ve been in that position for the last few years so I’ve learned to adapt. I don’t prepare any differently that way if I have to play then I’m ready. That’s how I’ve been all my career.

‘I didn’t come here to be a number two. I want to play football and although it was a disappointing result against Leeds it’s always nice to go and play in front of a big crowd at home.

‘I thought I did OK and that goal was unlucky. The shot hit Stephen Kelly’s ankle and if it hadn’t I would probably have saved it. But that’s just how it’s going for us at the moment.’
