Rotherham United’s Darren Potter says the players have trained well since Saturday’s defeat to Gillingham.

Missed in midfield with an injury Potts was back last Saturday but didn’t get the outcome he wanted telling iFOLLOW, ‘I’d been out for two or three weeks so it was good to get back but it wasn’t under great circumstances.

‘But the injuries fine and it’s just about getting minutes under my belt now to get back up to speed. But I felt OK in the game.

‘We’ve had some good sessions and we’ve all responded positively to the poor result at the weekend.

‘Regardless of what game comes next you have to show the right mentality and bounce back in the right manner.’

Talking about the weekends FA Cup game with Crewe, the thirty-two year old said, ‘Growing up it was always one of the biggest competitions around and, for me, it’s still got that same magical feel about it. I’m sure we will approach it in the right manner and be looking at getting through to the next round.’
