Lee Frecklington
Born in Lincoln Frecks came through the Youth ranks with Lincoln City and went on to play around one hundred and twenty-five games for the Imps. While with City he had loan spells with non-league Lincoln United and Stamford before going on loan to Peterborough. After just a handful of games the midfielder signed a permanent deal with The Posh where he went on to play more than eighty games.
After a loan spell with the Millers which saw him score two goals Frecks signed a two-and-a-half deal with Rotherham in January 2013 fast becoming a fans favourite and automatic choice for a first-team spot.
September 2015 saw Lee named club captain.
After already signing one extension to his contract, July 2016 saw him sign a new two year deal with the Millers.
The 2016/17 season was a bit of a stop-start one for Frecks due to injuries meaning he only made twenty-two appearances with his only goal of the campaign coming in the last game of the season in the one-all home draw with Derby County.
All-in-all, up to now, Frecks has made one hundred and sixty-six appearances for the Millers in all competitions – and he, and the Millers fans, will be hoping for many more appearances next season.
