Lee Camp

Rotherham United’s Number One Lee Camp came through the Youth ranks at Derby County going on to play ninety games plus for the Rams. While with Derby Lee went out to various clubs on loan going twice to QPR who he eventually signed a three-year deal for in the summer of 2007.

October 2008 saw him go out on loan to Nottingham Forest and in July 2009 he signed a permanent deal for them. Summer 2011 saw Forest reportedly reject three separate bids for the ‘keeper but things went down hill a bit and January 2013 saw Forest release him from his contract and a day later he joined Norwich City.

From Norwich he moved to West Brom where he didn’t play a game before going out on loan to Bournemouth who he signed a permanent deal for in January 2014. He played over thirty times for Bournemouth before being released in September the following year.

Lee joined the Millers on 1st September 2015 signing a two year deal and made forty-two appearances this season keeping twelve clean sheets. At the end of the 2015/16 season Lee won the clubs’ Player of the Year and also picked up the Players’ Player of the Year. He was also voted Vital Rotherham’s Player of the Season.

Lee has caps at U21 level for England and also nine caps for Northern Ireland.
