Rotherham United Caretaker Manager, Darren Patterson says that he is unsure about his future.

Patto came to the Millers as Andy Scott’s assistant and when Scott was sacked eleven days ago, he took over at the helm. With the club now in the middle of interviewing for a new manager, Patto could be left out in the cold.

Speaking to The Football League’s Official Site the former Northern Ireland defender said he didn’t know if tomorrow’s game against Hereford would be his last in charge. ‘I hope not,’ he said, ‘but I am realistic enough to know it could be but I’m not approaching it in that manner.

‘My thought process will be win against Hereford and then prepare on Monday to beat Aldershot. If I am told differently then I will react accordingly.’

Patto hasn’t put in for the new manager job and, as caretaker, has, so far, won one, lost one and he admitted, ‘I have only been out of football once before and that is something that I am not looking forward to.’
