Rotherham United’s twenty one year old striker, Chris O’Grady was back in training this morning after going to hospital on Saturday, during the game, and having stitches in his head.

O’Grady and Morecambe’s goalkeeper Joe Lewis clashed when they both went for the same ball during the Millers three-one win at Millmoor.

Dennis Circuit, Rotherham’s physio, told the Official Site that O’Grady was back running this morning and had suffered no concussion or delayed concussion but they will be keeping an eye on him.

Circuit gave boss, Mark Robins a bit of a boost by saying, ‘Obviously the training was non-contact but he should be fit for Saturday’s trip to Dagenham and Redbridge. The stitches will still be in and we will be guided by medical advice. At the moment there is swelling around the wound.’

So, there is some good news to come out of Millmoor today!
