Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that they are ‘back to the drawing board’ regarding getting a striker in after, once again, Bournemouth striker Matt Tubbs, has slipped through his fingers.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield today the Millers Boss said, ‘Everything was agreed for Matt Tubbs to come here but after he came on as a sub and got a last minute goal and then scoring again on Tuesday, what we thought was probably going to happen today goes out of the window.’

With rumours circulating that former loanee striker Sam Hoskins was returning from his home club Southampton, Evans told the Official Site that it wasn’t going to happen.

‘There won’t be any additions before the weekend,’ Evans said.
