Rotherham United’s Andy Nicholas told Gerry Somerton of RotherFM that the ninety minutes against Aldershot was frustrating.

The Millers came out of the game, at Don Valley, with a point and Nicholas said, ‘At half-time we were happy it was still nil-nil because we’d been under a lot of pressure. The first half was a bit of a non-event for us but although they had a lot of possession they didn’t have that many chances.

‘After half-time we changed things shape wise and had a number of chances. I had a header and the ‘keeper made a good save, but I should have scored really. We got a rhythm going in the last twenty minutes. Warney had a few shots, Kevin Ellison had a few shots but you know the team isn’t clicking when the strikers weren’t having chances. It was just one of those games that if we’d have taken one of those chances, because we kept a clean sheet, we’d have been very pleased.

‘It was frustrating but it could easily have been a great one-nil win in the end.’
