Rotherham United midfielder Conor Newton thinks it’s going to be tough at Middlesbrough on Saturday.

‘Boro are just two points behind top of the table Bournemouth and although they lost their Easter Monday clash away at Watford they are very much still on track to get an automatic promotion place, at least a place in the play-offs.

‘We’ll be going there to try and take something,’ the twenty-three year old told The Advertiser, ‘but it’s a tough one.

‘At this stage of the season they’re very nervy games and Ideally you want to go into the last three or four knowing that you’re safe.

‘This is football and everyone is fully aware of the task in hand. We need to get points by any means really and not many will expect us to go and win but all us in Rotherham shirts do.’

I think this is going to be a very entertaining game (it should be for what it’s costing us to watch it!). ‘Boro are the best team I’ve seen at the NYS this season and with them going into this game on the back of a defeat I’m sure they will be up for it – as will the Millers who want every point they can get
