Rotherham United are hoping to have new signing, Johnny Mullins fit for Saturday’s friendly against Sheffield United after he missed out on the game with Leicester last Tuesday with a calf injury.

Mullins, who joined the Millers from Stockport County at the beginning of the month, told the Official Site, ‘I got a kick on my calf in the game at Stockport but the X-Rays didn’t show any further damage and, hopefully, I’ll be playing against Sheffield United on Saturday.’

Talking about his pre-season schedule with the Millers, the twenty-four year old said, ‘All the lads have been worked very hard by Warney but, to be fair, he has to join in himself! We’ve all come through it and looked good which is vital ahead of a long season.’
