Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore explained the omission of Arsenal loanee, Mark Randall from the team that drew three-all with Stockport this evening at Edgeley Park.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Moore said, ‘It was a lack of professionalism for me.

‘We’ve booked him in a hotel but, without anyone knowing, he went home. Then his car breaks down on the M6.

‘Now, if ever there was a game crying out for skill and precession and picking players out this was it.

‘You can’t have it and it’s something that will be dealt with internally. If he’d been playing with Arsenal he wouldn’t have done it. It’s showing disrespect to Rotherham United and we won’t have it.’

The Millers actually played with only five subs on the bench and Moore explained, ‘We decided with us only being an hour and a half away at Stockport, rather than bringing all the lads and making them sit in the stands freezing, with the reserve game tomorrow, I’d only bring eighteen players. Of course, then at half past six we were told that his car has broke down and the RAC have taken him back home and not here.’
