Rotherham United Reserves came from a goal behind on Tuesday night at Don Valley against Derby Reserves to win three-one.

Manager, Ronnie Moore was there to watch the game and this week has told MillersPlayer, ‘I was pleased with the Reserve lads on Tuesday although the first half wasn’t that good but they came out for the second half and there were some great performances. Brogan hadn’t trained for ten days – he only trained on the Monday, played on the Tuesday and got himself two goals and I like that because he shows an endeavour to go and play and he’s given me a bit of food for thought playing in the midfield area. Ryan Taylor got himself a goal and is really putting Popey (Tom Pope) under pressure now – he trained really well on Monday and it’s the best I’ve seen him move.

‘I told the Reserve players that I’ve no favourites at the club and during the season players are going to lose form and when that happens there are going to be men who come in and do the job. And, looking at the attitude of the players on Tuesday night I think whoever comes in will be determined to stay in.’
