Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore thought the game against Bradford City today was brilliant.

Speaking to MillersPlayer after his teams’ four-two win, Moore said, ‘I thought we were the best side by a mile. The first half was probably the best we’ve played and what a goal from Roberts – if it had been done in the Premiership it would have been on all week.

‘It was an all round team performance and all credit to them. I was just disappointed that we let them back in the game within thirty seconds of the second half. But we showed character and we’ve come back.’

There was an unsavoury incident just before half-time when City’s Simon Ramsden went down under a challenge from Drewe Broughton claiming the Millers’ striker had elbowed him and Moore said, ‘I thought their number two was bang out of order. There wasn’t a cat in hells chance that he was caught. Talk about cheating it was ridiculous what he did. I let him know it as well and I thought the Ref was going to shoo me upstairs. But it’s all about passion and Stuart McCall was the same and he’s had a go as well.

‘I thought Drewe led the line as well as I’ve seen him and he was magnificent today. I thought about taking him off at half-time after he’d been booked but he promised he wouldn’t do anything daft and he performed well and deserved his goal.

‘I don’t know when Sharpsy’s (Ian Sharps) going to score a goal because I think my missus would have scored that one he missed!

‘We’ve set the standards now and if we play like that week in and week out I’ll be happy. I was pleased with the back four in certain things and not so pleased with other things.’
