Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told MillersPlayer that midfielder, Jason Taylor wasn’t ‘for him.’

Taylor, who joined the Millers from Stockport in January last year, has just had a two month loan at Rochdale extended until the end of the season.

‘I had Jason at Oldham and he just wasn’t the player for me. That’s how it is. You like some players and you don’t like others. We all have our own opinion.

‘He’s doing a really good job at Rochdale and they are happy with him. He’s sitting in midfield for them and I don’t think they’ve lost since he’s been there.

‘With him going it gives me the opportunity, with his wages, to maybe bring in someone who’s better than Jason Taylor.’

Asked about the January Transfer window and had he got any players in mind to bring in, Moore said, ‘Because we haven’t had games all the players are going to be struggling with match fitness.

‘It’s not just us, all the teams in League Two are trying to wheel and deal at this level to get loan players in.

‘But, we know who we’re looking at and it’s just a matter of can we do a deal with the clubs.’
