Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that the player who has just joined the Millers, Gavin Gunning, is a ‘good player.’

Speaking to MillersPlayer, Moore said, ‘Gavin is from a Premiership club and we’re pleased that Blackburn have let him out on loan. He’s a left back or left sided midfielder, has got good pace, has a bit of height and will join in. He’s had a spell with Tranmere Rovers so he knows about playing in League One. He’s a good player who we’ve seen a lot of.

‘He’s come in initially on a months’ loan with a view to taking him until the end of the season.

‘He’s a bright lad and certainly one for the future.

‘He`ll be in the squad for tomorrows game against Grimsby and there`s every chance he could play but he did have a game on Thursday behind closed doors against Celtic so we`ll have to see how he is and take it from there.’

All at Vital Rotherham want to welcome Gavin and wish him all the best while he’s with the Millers
