Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore reflects on the way he set his side out to play against Bury on Saturday that earned the Millers a point.

‘My decision to play three in midfield on Saturday wasn`t a defensive minded one,` Moore told MillersPlayer. ‘People said Alfie (Adam Le Fondre) couldn`t play up front on his own and we wanted him to prove it. And I thought he did well. He worked hard but what we didn`t do well as a team was get enough support to him and so it`s the other area`s we`ve got to improve on. But this is a system that can work for us and can benefit us.

‘We knew that their striker would be dropping in that hole anyway so Jason Taylor played in there to sit and make sure we looked after that. And the other two lads had full licence to bomb on and get beyond which they didn`t do and it was disappointing.

‘But the system is decent and it will be one that we`ll use again.`
