Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore said he was frustrated after today’s loss at Gigg Lane against Bury.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield after the game, he said, ‘To play the first half like we did and the chances we had, the game should have been dead and buried. The back four have never looked under any pressure and we controlled the game.

‘At half-time we speak about what we are going to do and when we come onto the park we don’t do the things we are supposed to do. They were making the wrong decisions and every wrong decision they make they will get punished for. They got just the start they wanted in the second half, one of our centre-backs made a wrong decision and the lads gone through and scored. But, at one-one there’s no problem and still a lot of time to come back. But it seems that when we concede a goal we’re like a pack of cards.’

Speaking about the penalty, Moore carried on, ‘It was never a pen, it was a ridiculous decision. But, the big thing is that they never scored from it and we got out of jail with that. And, that’s the time we should press on.’

Moore talked about Kevin Ellison’s goal, ‘Our delivery from set plays is magnificent and the goal was a great ball in and we should be getting more goals from set plays. But then Law overhits one or two corners and the quality he’s got on the ball he shouldn’t be doing that.

‘But, it’s open play that upsets me. We’re playing four-four-two which is doing nothing different. A lot of our mistakes are naive and there are a lot of things not quite right at the moment.’
