Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore denied that uncertainty of some of his playing staffs future was affecting the push for promotion

Speaking to Radio Sheffield before tonights win over Northampton, Moore said, ‘None of them has come and asked me about a contract.’

Among the players out of contract are skipper Ian Sharps, striker Drewe Broughton and defender Pablo Mills.

‘If it was me and my contract was up,’ Moore carried on, ‘I’d certainly be running my socks off, jumping up and down saying ‘Hey, if you don’t want me, then someone else will.’

Also before the game, Chairman, Tony Stewart, gave his Manager, a vote of confidence by saying that his job was safe, even if they missed out on promotion this season.
