Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore had nothing but praise for stand-in ‘keeper, Jamie Annerson after the two-one win over Burton that puts them into the Northern Area Quarter Finals of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy.
Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Moore said,` To be fair, he was fantastic.`
Annerson was getting only his second first team start this season, with Moore resting some of his more senior players.
‘The save he made after just two minutes when we got caught from a short corner and they`ve counter attacked us and he`s made a fantastic save. Then he made one right down at his left hand and he kicks the ball a mile and I am well pleased with him.`
I’ve got to say, that concensus on the coach coming back to Rotherham last night was that Andy Warrington might find it a bit difficult to get back into the side on Saturday!
