Rotherham United winger Ryan Williams says that one thing he has always been known for is his energy.

Saying he is enjoying his time with the Millers the twenty-three year old Australian told the Official Site that his job is to ‘get up, down, sideways, whatever.

‘I’ve never been a winger to get to the by-line and get crosses in, I’m more an inside winger than an outside winger but I can do both.

‘This is one of the best groups I’ve been with. Everyone is hungry to improve and they are all genuinely nice people. Everyone seems to bounce off each other and it’s a really good environment to be in.

‘We just want to go out and win every game whether it’s home or away. We’re not really focusing on what the club have done previously. We are here because we want the club higher up the league.’

Ryan joined from Barnsley in the summer on a two year deal and has been involved in nine games for the Millers so far this season, scoring once in the five-nil win over Southend.

As a Millers fan I like what Ryan has brought to the team – he’s a trier, he gets himself in the mix and if he does something wrong he doesn’t let it both him he just turns round and starts again.
