Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans wasn’t impressed with Southend Manager Paul Sturrock who, he says tried to put a ‘bomb’ in the Millers’ camp.
Speaking to Teamtalk the Millers Boss said that Southend enquired about midfielder Jason Taylor before the Shrimpers came to New York last weekend with Evans saying, ‘We have all played that game and phoned up for a player a few days before we play them to try and put a bomb in their camp, they must think I’m Donald Duck.’
Southend came away with all three points from New York and Evans said, ‘I don’t think they’d want him anyway after the way he played.’
Yes, I was thinking that too!
