Rotherham United’s last pre-season friendly will take place at the New York Stadium on Saturday, 29th July when neighbours Barnsley will be the opposition. Kick-off is 3.00pm.

Barnsley were the first team to take on Rotherham at the New York Stadium in July 2012 with Barnsley’s Jacob Mellis scoring the first goal at the stadium. But goals from David Noble and Kayode Odejayi saw the Millers win their first game in the new stadium.

The Millers also have friendly games organised away at Parkgate on Saturday, 8th July, a home game against neighbours Sheffield United on Friday,21st July, Gainsborough Town and Alftreton on 18th July and away at Chesterfield on Tuesday, 25th July and North Ferriby on 26th July.
