Rotherham United take on Oldham Athletic this afternoon but which eleven will Millers Manager Paul Warne start?

One enforced change will be at the back where Joe Mattock is suspended with Ben Purrington almost certain to take his place.

But will that be the only change to the eleven who started against Bradford last Saturday?

Well, I don’t think Marek Rodak has done anything wrong so he should keep his place in goal.

The only player who, in my opinion (and it is only my opinion) who didn’t play his best at Valley Parade was Will Vaulks, pushed into the right-back position. For me Vaulks always plays better in centre-mid or midfield. So might he find himself dropped or moved? If so, who would come in? Josh Emmanuel is the obvious replacement and he did play the full ninety minutes of a reserve game in mid-week after a toe injury. Or would he be saved until Tuesday night at Blackburn?

Semi Ajayi, Anthony Forde and Joe Newell also played in the reserve win on Tuesday afternoon – all being subbed at least twenty minutes before the end – could that mean any of those are going to come in this afternoon?

Well, we don’t really know, but, for what it’s worth, this is what I think the starting eleven will be against Oldham.

Rodak

Emmanuel
Purrington
Wood
Ihiekwe

Frecklington
Potter
Williams
Taylor

Towell

Moore

What about your starting eleven?
