Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans has made his second signing today by bringing in Kayode Odejayi from Colchester

The thirty year old striker was a trainee at Bristol City and played a handful of first team games for them before moving into non-league with Forest Green. After a season with Forest Green he moved back into the league with Cheltenham Town. Spending four seasons with Town and appearing over one hundred and twenty times, Kayode moved to Barnsley in May 2007. While at Oakwell he had spells with both Scunthorpe and Colchester before signing a permanent deal with The U’s on Christmas Eve 2009 for an undisclosed fee.

Kayode has played forty-seven times for Colchester this season and scored five goals.

Kayode has one International cap for Nigeria.
