Rotherham United have signed goalkeeper Adam Collin from Carlisle United this afternoon.

The Penrith born twenty-eight year old began his career with Newcastle United and after having loan spells with Oldham and Doncaster Rovers he signed for Rovers in 2004. Never getting a game for the South Yorkshire club he moved to non-league Workington where he made over two hundred appearances before moving to Carlisle in 2009. He had a run of one hundred and forty-six games with the Cumbrians before losing his place in the team. After becoming the number one again in November 2012 Carlisle started to play the rotation game and he again lost his place playing just sixteen times last season.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Adam to the Millers
