Rotherham United’s goalkeeper, Andy Warrington has been talking to MillersWorld today.

Losing to Grimsby in the JP Trophy
‘You always want to do well in any cup competition and go as far as you can. But, our main priority has to be the League.’

Against Brentford on Friday night
‘I thought the lads showed character on Friday. We went one down and we came back and got the equaliser. We had a penalty appeal turned down and Newey hit the post. We were unlucky to come away with only one point and we deserved all three.’

Morecambe this Saturday
‘Morecambe have come out of the conference, which is a tough league, and won the play offs. Like all the teams in this league, they will be a strong, physical side.’

Superstitions
‘I put my right boot on first, my right glove on first, my right shin pad on first! On Friday we keep training the same and we have the same pre-match meal before a game.’

On himself
‘I’m thirty-one but I am still learning. There are certain things I think I can do better. I am own my biggest critic.
‘I’m sure there is more to come from me and more to come from the team too. This bodes well for later on in the season.’
