Rotherham United have been docked three points by the Football League for playing an ineligible player in their Easter Monday game against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The club, who it is understood have also been fined £30.000, have until May 1st to appeal.

This leaves the club on forty-one points but still one point and one place above Millwall who occupy the last relegation place going into this weekends games.
