Rotherham United Manager Neil Warnock said he felt immensely proud after his Millers side secured safety in the Championship after getting a goalless draw at Wolves this afternoon.

Speaking to MillersPlayer the Millers Boss said, ‘We`ve only brought in a couple of fringe players like Paddy Kenny and Lloyd Doyley yet they`ve all responded in a magnificent way.

‘When you see them putting their bodies on the line to keep that goal intact that`s when I get very proud. And I like pleasing the fans and our fans will be very happy. And the club themselves, who ever is in charge, can start to build for the future.

‘This ranks alongside when I got Scarborough promotion as my first management real success. But this is a lot higher standard with a group of players who didn`t really believe they could do it.

‘To put the pride back in the club, to see the fans as they are and to see the dressing room now – everybody wants to be in that dressing room.

‘And to get the record like we have well they`ll be talking about this in another twenty years.`
