Rotherham United have, again, achieved the ‘Family Excellence’ status which is an award given to clubs which recognises continuous improvement and best practice in family engagement across the league.

This award has been given to fifty-six clubs, which is an improvement of three from last season.

Each EFL club had two ‘mystery family’ visits throughout the season whose feedback determined which clubs would achieve the Family Excellence status.

Shaun Harvey, the EFL Chief Executive told the
EFL Official Site, ‘It is hugely encouraging to see the continuous development and improvement made by EFL clubs in offering engaging match day experiences for families.

‘For over a decade the EFL’s Family Excellence Scheme has helped to produce positive and impactful change across the league and several clubs have gained strong industry-wide reputations for offering true family value and a consistently high level of service and innovation.’
