Rotherham United had trialist Scott Donnelly playing in their first pre-season friendly against Parkgate this afternoon.

The twenty-five year old played the second forty-five minutes of the six-nil win with Assistant Manager, Paul Raynor saying that he thought he’d put in a decent performance.

The midfielder began his career with Queens Park Rangers before moving to non-league Wealdstone in January 2007. In the July he moved to Aldershot where he made over seventy appearances before moving to Swansea City in the summer of 2010. Making just one appearance for the Swans, Scott was on loan with Wycombe Wanderers last season.
