Rotherham United have given midfielder, Andy Liddell, a month’s contract but he is hoping he plays well enough for an extension to that.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, the thirty-six year old said, ‘It’s down to me, if I do well then hopefully Rotherham will extend my contract.’

Liddell had his contract at Oldham terminated at the end of last season and he has featured in some of the Millers’ pre-season friendlies, scoring from the penalty spot against non-league Emley last night.
