Rotherham United have a blank weekend this weekend and winger, Marcus Marshall is hoping that this won`t hinder the team at all.

The Millers next game is on Tuesday night against Stockport County at Edgeley Park and, with leaders Chesterfield not playing, could see the Millers jump ahead of them into top spot if they get all three points.

Twenty-one year old Marshall, who has impressed both fans and his manager in the last few weeks, spoke to The Advertiser this week saying, ‘We want to play and we want to keep things flowing but we came back after a blank weekend at the beginning of December and played well against Aldershot. Then we did the same thing against Port Vale last week after having three weeks off, so, hopefully, it won`t hinder us again.

‘Everyone is confident and the dressing room is fine.`
