Macclesfield Town defender, Richard Walker has been charged over an incident that happened at Don Valley last Saturday involving the Millers Drewe Broughton.

The charge relates to an alledged incident with the Millers striker in the second half of the game and was brought to the attention of the match officials, after the final whistle, by the referee’s assessor.

Town Manager, Keith Alexander, told Macclesfield’s Official Site, ‘We’ll take a look at the video evidence and take a decision based on that.’

Walker has until 6.00pm this evening to respond to the charge.
