Rotherham United Caretaker Manager, Andy Liddell has stressed that he wants total commitment from the players as they go into the last nine games of the season, starting this evening at Sincil Bank.

Speaking to The Advertiser, Lids said that they have to put the embarrassment of last Friday at the B2net behind them, saying ‘It happens, you deal with it and get on.

‘The lads will respond – they`ve got to. A lot of people saw Friday`s game and the players are hurting. They didn`t go out to play that way intentionally. We now want total commitment from the players and we will get it.

‘It`s not like I`m coming in fresh, I know the players and I`ve got belief in them.

‘In essence we`ve got two first teams here and the most difficult thing is picking the team. But, whatever one we put out there it will be positive and it will be committed.`
