Rotherham United`s Nicky Law is poised to sign for Scottish Premier League side, Motherwell.

It would seem that Motherwell Manager, Stuart McCall, who has worked with the twenty-three year old at both Sheffield United and Bradford, has beaten off sides such as Scunthorpe and Crawley to sign the midfielder.

If this is true then it will be a big blow for the Millers who, under Football League laws in England, would be looking to receive compensation with the player being under twenty-four, a move to Scotland would see Law go for free.

Law`s contract runs out this week and he is expected to move to Fir Park before the weekend.
