Rotherham United’s Nicky Law wants to apologise to the supporters who made the long trip down to Luton on Tuesday night.

One hundred and thirty-one Millers went to Kenilworth Road on Tuesday in the rain to see the team well below par and Law said, ‘You feel for the fans.’

Speaking to The Advertiser, the twenty-one year old admitted, ‘I wouldn’t have been one of the one hundred and thirty-one behind the goal on a night like that. Everyone on the team were diappointed for them. The supporters are the most important people to us and it’s heartbreaking for them. It’s their club, it’s their life and they support Rotherham home and away and are always vocal.

‘On behalf of the team I’d like to apologise to them and assure them we will be doing our upmost to get it right and have a successful season.’
