Rotherham United striker Kieffer Moore scored his ninth goal of the campaign against Northampton Town yesterday helping the Millers up to eighth in League One.

Speaking after his goal got all three points yesterday, the twenty-five year old who is on loan from Ipswich Town told Radio Sheffield, ‘It was good to get another goal.

‘I’m loving my football here, I’m getting the games I wanted and the goals come with that. I’m loving every minute of it and I’m going to carry on loving it.

‘It’s a brilliant system we play which creates a lot of chances and I’m just lucky enough to get on the end of them.

‘It’s very close knit here and you can tell on the pitch that we all want one another to do well. We want to do well for this football club and we want to do well for each other.

‘The Gaffer’s team talks are good and he gets us going just before we come out and we just want to give it our all. He’s very approachable and has a bit of banter with the lads and we all love him.

‘The fans are amazing and it’s some feeling coming off and getting the recognition from the fans and your peers. Everything you do as a footballer is to get that and it’s brilliant getting it coming off at the New York Stadium. ‘

Asked about his fitness, Kieffer admitted he was still struggling saying, ‘The reason I had to come off early was because of my hips but I feel I can still give something to the team.’
