Rotherham United’s Icelandic International Kari Arnason is thinking positive and believes the Millers can still be in the Championship next season.

Rotherham have a blank weekend coming up and are five points above the relegation spaces with Arnie telling The Advertiser, ‘The ambition the club set this season was high and the boys who have played in this league always knew it would be a struggle and that we’d possibly be in a relegation battle.

‘We started the season well but then we ran out of steam. There’s been changes to the squad which is never easy but I have full belief in this team. We need to keep it simple and do what we’re good at.

‘I’ve no doubt that we can finish strongly.’

Kari has made forty-two appearances for the Millers this season in all competitions plus a handful of appearances for Iceland.
