Rotherham United are expected to announce Jamie Johnson as their new Head of Recruitment in the New Year according to Joe Cawthorn of The Rotherham Advertiser.

Jamie held the job as Chief Scout at Millwall from 2009 to 2013, after being appointed by Kenny Jackett, before moving to Derby County in 2014 at Head of UK Scouting.

From Derby Jamie moved to the Scouting team at Brighton and Hove Albion and has also held similar rolls with Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur.

Jamie’s name has been bandied about with the Millers for the last few weeks but whether this is true or not, though we suspect it is, we will have to wait and see.
